Steven Schoenberg

Concert Music

Steven Schoenberg received his Bachelor of Music degree in composition from The Hartt School in Hartford, CT. He studied with Arnold Franchetti, Norman Dinerstein, and Edward Diemente. He has composed music for orchestra, chorus, wind ensemble, and chamber groups. For the University Without Wall program at the University of Massachusetts, he taught theory and orchestration. At Greenfield Community College, Steven was an instructor of music improvisation for the “Talented and Gifted” series. His works have been performed at such venues as the Weill Recital Hall, New York City; The Mohawk Trail Concerts series; by the Holyoke Civic Orchestra; at Smith College; at Yale University; at The Banff Centre, and throughout Canada. Steven has received grants from The Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities and Meet The Composer.

His compositions include:
